No doubt this is a nice, clear and a wide screen dvd player that my daughter enjoys a lot, however, you need an rf modulator installed with it which if you dont have installed along with the dvd would cost you about another $100 to have it put in at best buy.
Another thing to consider when buying this unit, is the size of your car 'cos it can really consume a lot of your ceiling space and you tend to hit your head when getting in the car if you still have it flipped down. I have it installed at best buy for approximately $200. Also my remote control for this unit do either not work or simply do not have batteries in them which I can't seem to open the back of it to check.
It would have been a lot nicer if there's a head phone jack with it also.

The unit works perfectly. As some of the other reviewers explained, the RF modulator is necessary.
Without the modulator the unit sounds good but the sound from my car audio's obviously better.
I think they should have included the modulator with it but that doesn't change my opinion on the monitor.
This is still the best deal i could find.
