Customer Reviews

Easy installation. Works as expected, very clear during day, but in the night is a little poor.....maybe I expected to much. I m thinking install an extra reverse light in order to improve a better night vision. Anyway I m going to buy another one for the other car.

Installed this backup camera on a Tahoe. It took several hours to do.
Per other reviews I tested it out before installing and it worked fine out of the box. Used it for a week so far and it is well worth the price. Worked OK in the rain.
Not particularly "good" video, but fully functional - a real comfort to know someone or something is not behind me when backing up. I've adjusted the camera pointing angle several times to get max coverage - the 90deg field-of-view is just barely enough.
The included hole saw bit cut through the aluminum for the mounting plate I created in a few seconds. The cables were more than long enough. I mounted the camera to the plate and to the rear bumper using bolts designed to keep license plates from being purloined. Tapped into a license plate light wiring to get camera power.
Overall - well worth $53. Functional.
